About us
The purpose of this group is to get people together for hands-on learning about plant identification. It will remain within Toronto and be TTC accessible, with an occasional exception. I will try to create a mix of available times for events; some weekends, some weekdays, some afternoons, some evenings.
You should join this group if you want to learn about local plants. You should also join this group if you have knowledge of local plants that you would like to share.
I am at an intermediate level of local plant knowledge. There is a lot that I don't know. I will try to answer as many question as possible about plants but I encourage everyone to bring their own plant and tree identification books so that we can all learn together! I will bring a selection of my own books to each and every event.

Irving Paisley Park
Irving Paisley Park, 393 York Mills Road, Toronto, ON, CAMeeting in the SouthEast corner of the parking lot at the York Mills Arena. Near the intersection of Bayview Avenue and York Mills Road.
I don't know this particular trail very well but figuring it out as we go is always how we do things. Let's see what we can see!

Bring your plant and tree identification guide if you have one, and if you don't have one, the library is a great place to try some out. Plant ID apps are also welcome; I recommend Plantnet.-Be safe
