We are a foster based volunteer organization that partners with the community to save more animals and achieve a No Kill Community! We are always seeking volunteers to promote our organization and assist with its programs.

Tell your furr-iends and mark your calendars! HSLC is back at Spanky's for Yappy Hour on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 until October. We’ll have a table set-up outside in the back to answer questions and sell merchandise! And, back by PUP-ular demand, our 50/50 raffle will run through October at which time two lucky winners will be announced! Spanky's is generously donating 10% of food sales to HSLC so be sure to come hungry!

Join us for our first-ever Fall for Fur-balls online auction! From October 10 at 8 AM through October 12 at 8 PM, you’ll have a short window to bid on dozens of existing items—or make a direct donation to cover specific needs like rabies vaccinations, food for community cats, and more.
