Surrey and Beyond Active Escapes

This is a Thames side walk with water side themes following the thames from Hampton court station to Richmond ,via Richmond park

Returning to Twickenham, for those that wish, we can take a break for a drink at the Eel Pie Pub i before going home.

There are bus connections from Twickenham back to Hampton court .or tube connection. There are options to leave walk at various locations on route if you wish .

There are frequent trains between Twickenham and Clapham Junction junction.

Guests and Dogs very welcome

Most likely stop in Richmond for swift drink on route .

MEETING AT FRIDAY STREET CAR PARK AT 12.00 pm

Route

Walking from Friday street car park , with plenty of free parking We will walk in the Direction of Cold Harbour , up onto North down , then taking circular path back to Friday street , vast views across north Downs valley . Some Hills , walking pace 2. 2.5 miles hour .

There is plenty of parking at Friday street. This is circular arriving back at friday street 4.30 to 4.45pm. walk is not route march . varied vista, rolling country side .

Meeting venue , Outside seaford Railway station

Meeting in Seaford , we walk along coast Path to Cuckmere , in the direction of Seven Sisters , Where we can stop for Drink at Cuckmere Haven and enjoy view of the seven sisters , from here we will take the path up to Hill on opposite valley get view of the Seven sisters , then do circular back to Seaford arriving back as Train station 4.30pm to 5pm

Total distance of 12 miles - very pleasant way to spend Sunday , mainly Moderate flat walk , with some modest Hills , nothing more than like surrey Hills , walking pace 2.5 miles Hour , with many breaks

well behaved Dogs and guests welcome , though please bare in mind some cows will be present in fields some of time .
