It scary season personal my favourite time of year. This year I pick nice walk that anyone can do in a nice scary village Goleen or could say 'gholin' sorry I will stop at the puns here. The hike is nice one with nice quiet country roads. The mountain is Knockaphuca another nod to Halloween.

We’re heading back to the Beara Peninsula for the 6th Cork Outdoorsy camping weekend — mountains, sea, campfires, BBQ, fresh air and good people. 🌲🔥

🌄🔥 Cork Outdoorsy — The Adventure is Here!

Bit early but I have something special plan for our annual Christmas hike. This year we are doing the old Kenmare road. This moderate hike that anyone can do. This hike is stunning with breath taking views. This trial takes you along the old wanding road and open countryside. Taking in some scenic rivers, waterfalls and even bit mountains in the distance. The hike is about 9km in total about 3 to 4 hours average.

The plan is start in Killarney and finish in Kenmare. We will have few drinks and food in Kenmare Bay Hotel. A bus will take us back to Killarney.

For this I will be taking a depoist for the bus and meal out for anyone who does not pay will have to find there own way back. A whatsapp group will also be set up.
