What we’re about
Atlanta Volleyball Meetup group's PURPOSE: Play volleyball on sand, grass, and indoor courts throughout Metro Atlanta, meet other local volleyball players, make new friends and teammates and build the sport of volleyball in Atlanta.
We welcome Recreational, Intermediate, and Advanced level volleyball players in Atlanta. All are welcome! Metro Atlanta Volleyball is the ultimate in Sports & Recreation – it is a very social sport. Beach volleyball is also a great form of low impact exercise. See you on the court!

If you have enjoyed our events, please consider chipping in. Atlanta Volleyball Meetup costs $200 per year for the website. We'll spend your contributions to fund improvements to public volleyball courts so we have more or better volleyball courts. Please see the link on the left under "This Meetup is community funded - Chip in"
Lets play some Volleyball Atlanta! . . . Warm weather is the time to play beach volleyball, and metro Atlanta has over 50 beach volleyball courts, but many of them need improvements.. so lets play vball!

Pay with credit cards, please. No cash.
Time is 6:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Cost is $5. They will have packages available for frequent players that can reduce the cost per session to as low as $4.They will be playing on 13 courts, which serves the dual purpose of maximizing time on the court while encouraging social distancing.

It is possible that they will have to cancel Open Gym a couple of times during the year. In this event, they will post signage at the front desk the week(s) prior to closure, b) post a message to that effect on this website, and c) send an email blast to our adult email list.
....which brings up an important point: please make sure that they have an accurate email address for you so that they can notify you of any closures and/or special events. Otherwise, there is no need to call to confirm that we're open; just show up when you can and find a court that suits your skill level. If you need help finding the court that best fits your skill level, ask the Gym Manager for assistance.
Alcohol Policy
Volleyball is a social sport. There is now a full service bar and restaurant at the venue.
Please do not bring beverages onto our fancy new floor, however. Drink responsibly. A5 Sportsplex.
