What we’re about
This is a group for Breathworkers and Breathers to post and share events and opportunities in the community for the practice of Breathwork. What is Breathwork? Breathwork, through deep breathing and evocative music (usually), facilitates access to all levels of human experience, including unfinished biographical material, birth memories, transpersonal phenomena, and residues of trauma stored in the body. This experience can allow for deeper layers of the psyche to emerge for integration and healing. It is transformative! Please note that most events are paid events; follow the posts to learn more.

See all- Holotropic Breathwork Workshop July 25-26, 2025 (This is a paid event)615 Rugby View Pl, Hendersonville, NC
## The setting for this home retreat is atop of a mountain, looking out onto the forests and farmland of northern Henderson and southern Buncombe counties along with the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. It is a beautiful "sanctuary" to facilitate your journey into deeper states of consciousness and connecting with your "inner healer/wisdom."
Through the use of one’s breath and powerfully evocative music, Holotropic Breathwork™ is sacred medicine for deep self-exploration healing and transformation. Breathers lie on a mat with eyes closed, listening to evocative music while engaged in deep, continuous, and accelerated breathing. Supported by a “sitter," breathers enter an expanded state of consciousness, thereby accessing their own “inner healer” who guides the experience.
Commonly reported experiences include the re-visiting of situations from the breather’s personal biography, pre-natal life, past lives and events within the collective consciousness, and other transpersonal and/or transcendental experiences.
This workshop begins on Friday evening July 25th with dinner and an Orientation Talk from 6-9 pm. Orientation will cover the origins and practice of Holotropic Breathwork and is required for all participants who have not yet done a Holotropic Breathwork workshop with either of the facilitators. Two 3-hour Holotropic Breathwork™ sessions begin on Saturday morning at 8:30 (one as a breather/one as a sitter) with the option for additional Body Work at the breather’s request. Home-cooked dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday, Mandala Drawing, and a Closing Integration Circle are also part of the experience. Throughout the workshop, there is ample opportunity for making connections and experiencing both community and emotional support.

Throughout history, virtually every culture has provided an opportunity and a method to access non-ordinary states of consciousness for inner exploration and healing. These methods have included drumming, chanting, dancing, fasting, ingesting psychoactive plants, altering breathing patterns, and many others. Breathwork, through deep breathing and evocative music, facilitates access to all levels of human experience, including unfinished biographical material, birth memories, transpersonal phenomena, and residues of trauma stored in the body.
The online workshops have been great. Some participants have asked for a longer session, so here we go; this one will be 80 minutes. Check out the comments at our website from some of our workshop participants.
Limited to 15 participants. We will be sharing with each other via Zoom and providing a music file to download and play on your device.
